Discover Scuba Diving

Unforgettable aquatic adventure for kids aged 8-10 years old. Strong focus on the environment
and safety, fun dives limited to 2 meters.

Scuba Diver
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you’re short on
time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you—
particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide. This course is an
intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, if that’s your ultimate goal.
To enroll in a PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver course), you must be 10 years old
or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior
experience with scuba diving is required, but you can try it first through the Discover Scuba®
Diving program.
• Dive under direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40
feet
• Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as
properly supervised.

Open Water Scuba Diver
PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will
teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.
Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology (either in-person or online), then learn basic
scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) with a highly trained PADI Instructor. When you’re
ready, make four dives in an open water environment (the ocean, a lake) with your instructor
supporting you every step of the way.
Benefits : By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or
abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.
