The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD) has been leading the way in advanced diver training since 1985. IANTD Sidemount Diver
Discover Sidemount Diving – a freer, more balanced, and more comfortable way to explore the underwater world.
Born from cave diving, this configuration places the tanks on the diver’s sides, offering exceptional stability, improved maneuverability, and increased safety through equipment redundancy.
Whether you are a recreational or technical diver, sidemount diving will transform the way you dive: less weight on your back, more comfort, and a unique feeling of control and effortless movement.
Benefits : Learn to dive in sidemount configuration down to the depth for which you are already certified.
Course duration: 3 days.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver.
Minimum age: 12 years old.
Course includes: 1 theory session, 1 practical workshop, 2 confined/pool dives, and 2 open water dives.
Maximum training depth: Same as your previous certification
IANTD Essential Tek Diver
The IANTD Essentials Tek Course is the perfect gateway into the world of technical diving.
Designed to refine your core diving skills, this program focuses on mastering buoyancy, stability, propulsion techniques, and familiarizing yourself with technical diving equipment such as twin sets, sidemount systems, and more.
With Essentials Tek, you will learn to dive like a pro and discover the advantages that technical diving offers compared to recreational diving — especially in terms of safety and precision. It’s the essential foundation before exploring depths beyond 40 meters.
Benefits: Learn the fundamentals of technical diving in a controlled environment.
Course duration: 2 days.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver.
Age: 15 years old
Course includes: 1 theory session, 1 practical workshop, 2 confined/pool dives, and open water dives.
Maximum training depth: Same as your previous certification.
IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver :
The IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver Course opens the door to safe and structured technical diving.
You will learn how to use oxygen-enriched gas mixes up to 100%, manage decompression dives, and plan your dives with precision.
Designed for divers wishing to explore depths of up to 45 meters, this course develops your skills in gas management, dive planning, and emergency procedures.
With Advanced Nitrox, you’ll gain autonomy, safety, and efficiency — pushing your limits while staying fully in control.
Benefits: Dive to depths of up to 45 meters with decompression.
– Perform accelerated decompression using oxygen-rich gases up to 100% O₂.
Course duration: 4 days
Prerequisites: Nitrox Diver, Deep Diver, and a minimum of 30 logged dives.
Age: 15 years old
Course includes: 2 theory sessions, 1 practical workshop, 2 confined/pool dives, and 4 open water dives.
Maximum training depth: 45 meters
IANTD Technical Diver
The IANTD Technical Diver Course marks a major milestone in your diving progression.
It prepares you to conduct dives down to 55 meters using air as a bottom gas. This course can be completed in twinset or sidemount configuration and includes the use of up to two additional decompression gases.
The program covers advanced dive planning, gas management, emergency procedures, and mastery of technical diving equipment.
Benefits: Dive to depths of up to 55 meters.
– Perform accelerated decompression using two decompression gases with up to 100% O₂.
Course duration: 4 days
Prerequisites: Advanced Nitrox Diver and a minimum of 100 logged dives.
Age: 18 years old
Course includes: 1 theory session, 1 practical workshop, 1 confined/pool dive, and 4 open water dives.
Maximum training depth: 55 meters
IANTD Tek Sidemount Diver
The IANTD Sidemount Tek Course combines the freedom of sidemount diving with the demands of technical diving.
It is ideal for certified sidemount divers who wish to conduct longer and/or deeper dives, as well as for technical divers using twinsets who want to transition to sidemount configuration.
Sidemount Tek allows you to perform safer dives in tighter environments such as caverns, wrecks, or caves—where back-mounted doubles can often be restrictive.
You will learn to manage multiple cylinders in sidemount configuration for greater efficiency, safety, and flexibility during your technical dives.
Benefits: Perform accelerated decompression using two to three decompression gases, up to 100% O₂, in sidemount configuration.
Course duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: Sidemount Diver, Advanced Nitrox Diver, and a minimum of 100 logged dives.
Age: 15 years old
Course includes: 1 theory session, 1 practical workshop, 1 confined/pool dive, and 4 open water dives.
Maximum training depth: Same as your previous certification.
